Digitizing ECG Signal using 2D Signal Convolution Approach

ECG signal printed on a graph paper has been widely used by medical examiners to analyze diseases related the heart. Medical practitioners rely historical records perform diagnosis. Constantly accessing manually could be time consuming as there are bulk of papers for examination. The proposed work aims convert into digitized remote undergoes conversion artifact before transforming ECG. In initial phase, patient information in is preserved encoding QR Code. phase two, preliminary processing done removal gridline background. Image convolution method process background removal. Then, morphological image implemented enhance artifact. three, segmentation takes place, which divided segments separating waveforms. final digitization, location traced reshaping accuracy digitization measured through heart rate that calculated using our approach and compared with one paper. average sum squared error between 0.005618. can useful telemedicine where diagnosis may needed.
